Having had two cream & brown interiors together I noticed considerable differences.
You would think that both are interchangable but they are not.
I had both an 83 and an 87 brown and tan interior thinking I could swap the dented doors.
The edging on both are different, very easy to make a mistake as they both look identical unless paired together, earlier is more of a milk chocolate than the latter, also when trying to swap the fridge doors there was a difference in hinge height of about 4mm.
There are also differences in the latch recievers, the earlier has an L bracket type reciever where as the latter design has changed to completely different reciever, probably due to the bending and compromising of L bracket mounting.
The early has the beige table top and cooker hood where as the latter has the chocalate brown table and cooker hood, there are also many subtle differnces too.
Just a heads up in case you are thinking of buying spare doors ect....
