pick it up on wednesday with 13 months MOT and 6 months tax included, it's rock solid underneath, very high spec, 2.1 fuel injection, runs and drives really sweet, just need to get used to driving along with my arse seeming to be above the pavement all the while now, reckon I scared a few oncoming drivers when I had the test drive as about a foot of the bus must've been on their side of the road, wondered why they all seemed to be diving for the ditch LOL LOL LOL

sure am, for the moment anyway 'cos I'm going to Oktoberfest in it, I love it for the weekends 'cos I don't wanna go anywhere else, but if I go away for a week or a fortnight I like the idea of being able to just jump in the van and nip off out without having to put everything away first everytime, (I'm just a lazy git I suppose) so keeping an eye out for an Eriba (Familia 310 or 320 GT) to go with the Syncro Caravelle and see how I get on with them first, also depends on whether I can afford to keep everything as well, LOLLOLLOL there's only me and I've now got, '94 Disco all tricked up for offroading, '64 Humber Sceptre, LT 35 diesel camper, '92 Volvo 940 2.4 diesel TDi (spare engine for the camper but still being used) now the '88 syncro, and a '86 Yamaha XT600 Tenere Big smileBig smileBig smile trouble with refusing to grow up is the toys just keep getting bigger and more expensive LOLLOLWink
                                                             cheers, Jack.

Having got fed up with the lack of coverage in all the mags on the great bus, the LT I have written to various people to ask why every mag or show is all about bays and splits.
Of course I love to see them as much as any but shows do need to show various VW's in all shapes and forms not just restored back to factory finish Splits.

It's even good to see the occasional chopped one I beleive, a bit of variety.

Anyway, after seeing so many variations of the LT from ambulances to army trucks, busses to cherry pickers I find it hard that nobody features this great all round machine.

At last a response from camper and commercial magazine (the people who run camperjam). PLease give them the response to having a category for LT's at the next camperjam.
Here's the reply I received:

send me a nice hi res pic of your bus and I will print it and your letter in Camper Mail next issue and see what response comes to inviting LTs to special display at Camperjam next year
