I've been poking about the van and it looks like a tow ball will bolt straight on , Is this the case ? anyone got a towbar fitted ?

Quite a few of us have towbar's fitted, only potential difficulty is with motorhomes where a rear step is fitted.

In my case there is a drop plate bolted to the rear step, onto which the towball is bolted.

Hi Mark
I have westfalia towbar fitted to the florida, it sticks up through the rear step! and to use it the step has to be removed.
But the bar itself is the full width of the van and then bolts to the chassis.
I will take a couple of pics the weekend to give a better idea.

Yeh my florida is the same with the removable step and the tow hitch fits in.

I reackon it would be a piece of piss to make up another step if you want one.
If your not local then you would have to weld the lugs on the back plate yourself!! 
T4 Westfalia Exclusive.Tdi LT work van..
