Hello all,
I bought a T3 last month, 2.1 petrol. The engine has been re-built by a company that specialise in this task. I have all the paper work for the re-build, the van hasn't even run in 200 miles yet and engine is still under warranty, though I'm waiting to see if the warranty is transferable from the company hopefully tomorrow.. Replaced both oil pressure senders/switches as the buzzer and warning light would come on when the engine was warm and over 2000rpm. I fitted an oil pressure gauge today, it ran over 4bar cold, and when hot just made 1bar over 2000 rpm.. Alarm bells are ringing, i haven't dropped the oil and changed the filter yet, but i can't imagine this will make much difference? I fear the worse..! Any pointers or advice appreciated, or is it motor out again? Cheers.. |
