What a day, driving to work this morning, something hit the windscreen with a massive bang. 

Windscreen badly damaged and now wipers dont work. Damage is bottom corner opposite to tax disc holder. Went to try fuses, no fuse layout diagram in manual or in fusebox. Wiper arms do not appear to have been damaged.

Any thoughts and can anyone guide me to a fusebox layout

Then loading up tonight I managed to smash the rear light cluster. Van is 2010 swb facelift model (tailgate), will pre facelift light clusters fit and where is a good place to buy?

Thanks, I might stay off tomorrow.

dont see how it can be connected! wipers wont work if bonnet is open..?

wipers was a blown fuse, had to pull them out one by one but was lucky as I found it quite quickly.

Can anyone help with the light thing, will a pre facelift rear light cluster fit a facelift T5? Tailgate version.

Seen one on ebay part number 7H5945096N but my part number is 7H5945258A, any thoughts?

Well, I'd say it would be worth a punt as I'm sure it'll fit. They (VW) don't appear to have messed about with the rear panels in the facelift. I'd imagine the different part numbers will relate to the coloured bits.

Thats what I thought , rang VW parts dept this morning and when I quoted my reg the light cluster was from 2006 onwards.

Not sure about the differences in part numbers as coloured bits both seem to be the same (both clear indicators)

Hi yes the pre facelift rear lamps do fit the later face lifted t5's. I've just done the reverse and fitted the later lamps to my pre-facelift t5.

Pretty much sorted now, windscreen changed today and light cluster ordered offa the bay for a genuine second hand one for £17.50, last thursday still cost me £80 though.    Cry
