well that's it my LT has gone, the guy came and picked it up today  and I'm suffering withdrawal pangs already Cry but as I'm into 4x4's and classic cars as well as VW's I decided that a little eriba pop top caravan would be far more practical for me as I can use it for any of my interests 4x4, classic car, VW weekends or even pull it behind the sensible motor LOL if I just fancy a week away, so my LT has been replaced by this   vvvvv

but I'll still be on here and see you guys at a show here and there for a beer or two, because for VW weekends this vvvvv is what the eriba will be being pulled by Big smile

Nice one Jack, It was good to meet you last weekend. LT's are going to get ever more popular after the display at CamperJam,  I love your new caravan too.

cheers Ian, yeah good to meet you too, I've long been in awe of the infamous ZUB Wink, I
don't think I'll be making vanfest as I haven't booked because I'm not sure if I'll be working that wekend or not but you never know, if I find out I'm not working then maybe someone already booked in with Brick-Yard won't be able to make it for some reason and may put their ticket up for sale, if they do and I can make it I'll buy you a pint on the strength of selling my LT, or maybe see you at Oktoberfest if you're going, all the best, Jack.

you're right Icky, very interesting, he's right he was lucky to get it, the guy who was all over it on the sunday at Camperjam and supposedly was going to have it, was going to call me on the Monday after camperjam to arrange when to come and collect it, didn't hear from him so tried calling him several times and kept just going to voice mail, left him messages to no avail, same again all day Tuesday so left final message that if I didn't hear from him by 9.00 pm I'd assume he'd lost interest becase I had other interested parties, Ade (the guy who bought it) rang me at 9.05 pm to see if the other chap had got in contact, he hadn't so I told him it was his if he wanted it, he caught a train up to Peterborough on Friday, I picked him up, good run round in the van, he was happy enough so cash changed hands and off he drove, happy as a pig in sh*t as the saying goes LOLLOL in fact he got a bonus as well because I'd advertised the van as MOT'd till October, but I must've got it mixed up with one of my other motors as when I sorted the paperwork out ready on Wednesday I found that it ran out on August 5th so had to ring up my MOT man and get him to do me a favour and squeeze it in for an MOT on the Thursday, it Passed no problem, just one advisory on slight corrosion on o/s front brake pipe, just needed emerying off and a smear of grease on it, so he ended up with nearly 13 months MOT on it as well.

would never dream of selling a motor with only 3 weeks ticket on it MTC unless as spares or repair, just not my way of doing business, and it was my own fault for not checking before I advertised it as October  LOLLOL

Perhaps you should change your forum name to Honest John? or maybe Honest Jack?!

Fair play anyway fella - I just thought you might want to see where he's at and maybe follow the progress of the van.

If you ever feel the need to get another LT i've got a couple of replacements you can buy LOL

Or even HoJay for short...oh, wait...maybe not!LOL

I've known of someone (the seller) in a similar situation - he realised when the buyer was on his way but instead of 'fessing up he just kept quiet and the buyer didn't check out the documents until (presumably) later on...

Good to know there are still honest people out there.
