I'm currently with budget but will be changing in march when renewal is due as they don't look very competitive on my new T5GP. I just paid the extra amount to take me to the end of the policy.
When i first looked when i got it in october quotes were coming in at about £500 versus the £320 i'd paid on my old T5 85ps.

Insure my cali with Comfort which is only £250.

Why are shuttles so expensive, do you have hire and reward on your policy?

9 seats so lots of insurers sting us for them as minibus even tho they aint neccesarily being used as one
I was thinking of tryin to swap the double front seat for a single to make it 8 seats or taking out rear bench to make it 6 seater.......maybe

think iam with e-van now its under £300 for an 06 130 . Think i have a good postcode .  used to be with budget with both my van and car , they were ok until i changed the car last year , they wanted an extra £500 for a car that was cheaper than the one I had , the yearly premium was only about £180 . They told me that the company I was with didn't insure the car i had bought, a suzuki vitara 1.6 FFS  .
I had to cancel and go with another company losing the 6 months premium i had allready paid with budget .
To make me really mad  This year I search for quotes for the little suzuki and budget are cheapest at about £180 the rip of bastards . i paid more just to avoid them.
my bigest fear is that when I die the missus will sell my toys for what I said I paid for them

My 102PS T5 GP is with Directline at £240 p.a. for the second year running.

Cheeky bastards though... I recently moved house and had no change on my motorbike policy despite it being a 950 KTM now kept outside with no lock or alarm instead of a garage but £25 extra on the van with another £15 admin fee.

I shall endeavour to change next time just for that.  My bike's with eBike and has been for 5 years now so will try eVan if competitive.

I have a 2007 950SM in black.  Bought it new and love it like no other bike I've owned!

I had a Land Rover at the time, the Syncro came the following year so I guess I'm a bike man first and VW second.

An old pic from about 2008, different exhausts and stuff since then.

Bike insurance amazes me , its so cheap for old farts like me , i seem to able to insure most litre superbikes for well under £200 fully comp .  the KTM was no more expensive than the 650 kawasaki , and my last Yam fazer 1000 was about the same price too .

They complain about bikers speeding and the amount of bike accidents etc but it must be the monority judjing by the insurance premiums i hear about .

As mentioned on other threads, premiums are (or at least should be) based on risk and claims experience.  Bikes don't get so many claims for other people's injuries, and the rider isn't covered either.  So not many of the often expensive claims for personal injury.

So unless bikers start ploughing into crowds of bystanders or crashing while carrying 9 passengers the premiums should remain relatively cheap.
