Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether there's any benefit in splashing out on the more expensive hubcentric spacers to fit my Merc alloys? Other than ease of centering the wheel during fitting I can't think of any - but am always open to advice.

Secondly, I'm struggling to get 205/55/16 tyres in a decent load rating (at least 97) - can anyone recommend a source? I've tried everyone on the net I can think of. I can get 215/55/16 no bother, but I'm not sure if this will cause fouling issues.

I've trawled the necessary posts - the only Merc alloys I can find with the same offset and width (ET46 7.5/16) seem to be using 205's. They don't say what load rating they're using.

Any advice always gratefully received.
