Hello, just registered.
Recently found my Dads 1980 LT28 Private camper conversion, and bought it.
She's still going strong about 12 years since he sold it. Few rust spots and leaks, but good for a little while longer hopefully.

20 years ago our family holidays were plagued by hot start issues on busy motorways and autobahns. It's still not great, it took a while to restart her at a motorway service station last time we were out in hot weather. I think part of the carb has been taken off in an attempt to improve matters. There may or may not be an after-market vapour lock device that Dad fitted, can't be sure without taking off the engine cover and looking again.

Any advice out there for overcoming the usual hot start issues?
