Granny alloy wheel nuts?

   Hi All,        I,m fitting Granada scorpio alloys to my T3 , and need to get suitable wheel nuts for these wheels as the original vw nuts seem to small for the stud hole on the rims, theres a huge gap around the stud to rim I think the ford nuts were sort of sleeved and had a bigger head to cover the stud holes to give a better puchase to the rim? I,ve read so many different comments and posts on this topic I,ve befuddled meself . Has any one found proper sized wheel nuts to fit these rims, any advice will help .
