Looking for the
Glow plugs for 1979 LT28D having trouble finding them in the US. The glow plugs that were in the 2.4l perkins engine were Bosch 0250200049 i can not find them anywhere. |

The Perkins engine is 2,7 liters, 4syl, 65hp. Maybe the glowplugs are the only part also used in the VAG diesels. I can't think of anny other part that could be used by both manufacturers.
Send Brickwerks a mail, maybe they are able to help you. Werk34.de also have some Perkins parts. VW-classic-parts.de is another. Perkins.com is also a possibility. Perkins engines where used in tracktors, generators and boats, but not wery much in cars. Take out one plug and take it to a boatengine repair shop, maybe they are able to help you. Ore someone repairing tracktors. |

I tried werk34.ed found part # 119100100 looks about right.
Numbers on the engine are HA22517D T44283 Cg030180*E Again this is stumping me. Not much on the internet for the perkins 2.7L |

ETKA shows N10213002 which is the same as the standard VW 1.6D found in North America.

Just realize it shows CP and CG engine code.
CG is the Perkins? Number I posted above is for CG.

The Bosch 0 250 201 032 shows 2.4in long. I contacted the local perkins dealer and they cant get the original Bosch 0 250 200 049 or the new part number 2666A002 so I had to order from the UK not bad for shipping. But hope they don't take a month to get here.
