hi,
Any help or advice appreciated. A friend (experienced mechanic) carried out a cambelt, water pump and oil change in my 2011 t5.1 and now it won’t start. We followed the procedure, locked in cam and HPI pump and marked everything. Fitted belt etc and turned over 4 or 5 times by hand with no issues but when we tried ignition it turned over and tried to start but then just dies. Got to late to strip it down again but does anyone have any suggestions- could it be the injector pump or cam sensor? Thankyou

If it starts but cuts out after a few seconds it could be an immobiliser issue, but they usually display an error message if that is the problem.
Maybe air in the fuel lines or the low pressure fuel pump isn't working properly ?
