Hello Everyone.  I hope you're still there.

My 1996SA 2.6 is playing up.  It's been fine but I've let it stand for a while (Lockdown mainly).  Now it fires but won't run  Plenty of fuel in the tank.  I see from the service record that the fuel filter isn't a service item with fuel injection so it may be that the filter is blocked.  Any ideas?

1996 is going to be "proper FI" as in not mechanical..

Pull one spark plug and rest it on the head, take a video if possible and crank, lets see if there is a good spark.

Start from there.

don't want to patronise/grandmother and eggs shit but you tube it and see what to do.

It's an early Petrol, start with the fucking basics.

Thanks.

Takes me back to my days with Morris 1000s etc.  Never had any trouble with the 1.9 WBX I used for chauffeuring.
It does have proper FI, as you say.  I've just spent ages getting the 1977 Bay (recent acquisition) to run properly. Had to go to a race tuner with a rolling road for that.
