Firstly i would check 12v to starter solenoid. With an assistant to turn ignition to 'start'check voltage on this wire. alternatively run a 12v line direct from battery to solenoid. This should energise start solenoidn allowing the main starter to power up and turn engine over.(if ignition is on). This is a quick check and highlights integrity of wire from ignition switch to start solenoid. The 12v to the solenoid on the pump has nothing to do with engine turn over.

hi thanks finally got someone to turn the ignition for me and tested my new 12v meter, there is no power to the thick black red wire to the solenoid, stripped connector of it tried again still no power, put direct 12v from the battery and starter turns over? Is there any fuses or anything that would stop me getting the 12v, thanks
