Hi
My coolant hose to the oilcooler (the one that has 3 connections reservoar > oilcooler + heat exchanger) vw part number 075121107c has broken close to the oilcooler.
When searching the internet I cannot find any replacement :-(
 A. Is there anyone out there that has one ?
 B. IF not can i mend it some how or buy any other hose (type 075 121 081) and splice it with an inner cupper piece and clamps ? Will that reduce the oil cooling severly ?

I busted the colant hose from back of the engine to the valv that opens for defroster heat. It had very different diameters in each end. But i think al/most of the other hoses are the same diameter in each end. Isn't it just to go to Mekonomen or Biltema and buy one With the same diameter and lenght?

Hi
true, but as it has a 90 angle directly after the connection at the oil-cooler I am afraid that if I use an "normal" hose it will reduce the flow substantially - thereby I am searching for the original part :-)
I have in the meantime learnt that I cannot splice with cupper as the engine is made of cast iron and aluminium :-( so plastic it will be if I cannot find the original part.
