Hi all
Just taken onwership of a LT31 distance wide with a few 'issues' First thing I need to sort out is the leaking fuel pump. I have done plenty reading up on setting the timing, but one query, which is 1 cyl? Timing belt end or flywheel end? Ta Pete |

Cylinder 1 is the one nearest the cam belt - check the engine manual at this link: |

^^ sorry slight cock up there^^
Thank you, confusion came on due to my background in marine engineering, as virtually all ships engines are numbered from the drive/flywheel end. |
