why are jx bellhousings so favoured for gti conv! how con you tell when you have one is ther a serial no. you should look out for? what is the difference between an 091 and 094 is this pre and post 1984? there only supid questions once you know the answers??

So No one is sharing their wisdom... WellI found out myself by doing some research whu would have been nice to have some help! I know the diesel bellhousings are are preffered because of the stronger construction but why are JX preffered over say the CS ! any body? |

nowt to do with strength they are the same bellhousing wether it's from a KY JX or CS engine.
They are needed as the GTi bolts straight up to them
