Evening,
Don't suppose someone with a JX would mind measuring the length of their dipstick tube would they, please?

I'll make one to fit, as it's only a bit of pipe, but need an accurate measurement to go off.

It's not quite just a bit of pipe. You have to have two minie 'flanges' see here.
You need the seal and washer from brickwerks or else it leaks. Mine also has a fixing bracket welded to the top end. As for the length, same as dipstick.

Thank you for the info link.
I know about the swages and seals, hence I need the actual dimensions from one so I can accurately replicate it.
If you have yours removed, perchance an annotated photo?

Youve probably done it by now but on mine Tube Dia = 8mm
Total Length 740
Length from place where seal and washer fit to tip 225mm
Mine has a tab sticking outsideways with slotted hole to enable securing with one of the bolts that comes backwards from the block into the toothed belt cover case.
