Hey guys, bought a cracking LT35 last week and just collected it today. Engine is sweet even with its 217k. Gear change is a bit of a lottery, the selector is clearly very worn. From what I've seen online some parts for it are obsolete? Any suggestions as to where I can buy bits to sort her?
2nd the airvents seam to be stuck on all the time, constantly stuck on the screen? Simple fix? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

It is a cabel going from the selector in the dashbord, down to the arm of the heater flap (is that the correct word?) on my LHD the arm is outside on the left side of the heater box, ap 15cm up from the floor. It could be that the cabel has snaped of.

Thanks Buss, will check it out later. Just back from a 150 mile trip in her. Drives great, seams to be an intermittent ticking noise from the engine? Definitely not a knock, doesn't sound too sinister. Maybe a noisy tappet?

Ticking noise may possibly be the vacuum pump?

The vans getting there!! I have another question though. On breaking the van pulls slightly to the left, there's also a kind of metal grinding noise. She's just had new discs and pads on the front but it sounds like it's coming from the front rather than the rear?

The caliper may not be secured, or the pads/discs may not have been set properly.

Pulling to the left sounds like nothing happening on the right.

Ok so got the chance to take the wheel off and have a look today. Nothing wrong with the brakes or caliper. There is a front bush missing though, does anyone have a ldiagram of the suspension / steering setup so I could identify it?
Many thanks for all your help so far 👌

All the diagrams you'll ever need can be found here but make sure you're looking at the right one as you don't say if yours is a single or twin wheel rear axle version, the LT35 came in two guises, LT35E (single wheel rear axle and coil spring front axle) and the LT35 (twin wheel rear axle and front beam axle with leaf springs.)

Personally I'd replace both sides, that way you can eliminate them from the equation if it still pulls to one side under braking.
