Rear axle identificaion http://www.lt1-forum.de/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=start:wichtige_daten:hinterachse
Gearbox identification http://www.lt1-forum.de/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=start:wichtige_daten:daten_getriebe You may be scuppered by the spigot bearing in the end of the crankshaft; there were three sizes, so if you my not have a choice of which gearbox is fitted. Remember though that top gear is 1:1 in all gearboxes. The differentials fitted to turbo models are stronger though this may be less important now considering the likely current use.
