As there doesn't seem to be any manual for this model and ideas where I can get a workshop manual from as cambelt has jumped and need some guidance with the timing positions any help appreciated.

Welcome.
How do you know the cam belt has jumped? What caused this?
The manuals I've found only cover the older diesel engines. - VW LT 6cyl Diesel Workshop Manual.
Yours has a different set up for the cam belt. It uses a tensioner and different water pump. The older diesel D24T has an adjustable water pump to adjust tension. No mention of how to reset a jumped belt - only how to change it.

There are lots of threads on Cam belt changes on this forum including one I posted for the later 2.4TDIC. Please let us know how you get on.

Anyway... To answer your original Q.
Fig 23-042, page 8, chapter 13 of the VW LT 6cyl Diesel Workshop Manual shows what to line up to check timing, if it's skipped then these marks won't line up.
