My fathers best friend waited 4 years, 3 months from paying the deposit, to receiving his Tesla Model X. May be i should ask the local VW dealer to put me on the list for this new, well what will be the name? ET1?
May fathers Friend was the first person in the world to order an electric 4wd car. Then i could be the first to order an Electric 4WD Van! in 2022 the Mitsubishi Miev i drive today will be 11 years old, so ready for replacement
Yesterday, my wife payed a 10.000Nok (900£) Deposit to be on the list for the New Nissan Leaf. It will be launched sept 6. Hopefully we will receive it in around may next year. If she orderd the Opel Ampera E, we would receive it in around april 2019 and the Tesla Model E at around the same time.

And, by the way, the new Crafter comes in an electric version. They said, when they launched the new Crafter that it would come in late 2017 but i think we would have to wait until next spring. The "problem" with the E-Crafter is that it is a bit outdated when it comes to range, already when they are starting to deliver them.
When it comes in a 3500kg version, with a real-life range of at least 300km, i could actually consider changing my Karmann LT for one.

My biggest issue with concept cars are usually the wheels...they always look like the bit in a food processor for slicing onions.

I actually like the wheels on the new new beetle, they look like steels with old style hubcaps on. I'd buy the car just for them !
