Hi all,
I used my camper in the morning, all good. I then went to use it in the afternoon and the ignition light didn't come on when i turned the key, the oil pressure light lit up as normal before turning over the engine but no battery light. camper didn't turn over, no click, no lazy starter nothing. clock ticking away like normal, oil light pretty bright. no battery light? If anyone could shed some light or help where to start looking would be greatly appreciated. |

nice one.
it was a sudden thing that happened, bus was left for a week or so n battery was fine, took it for a drive. I then went back to it that afternoon and no battery light when turned the key but clock still ticking and bright oil light. Didnt start, (not turning over) and battery dead within an hour after that. |

Hi there,
Thanks for the reply's Turned out to be alternator. After checking earths and wires: I put the blue alternator wire to earth and the battery light in the dash lit up. After I dissconected the alternator and the battery kept its charge. possibly the diode in the alternator has gone. |
