I recently repaired the odometer in the DOKA and yesterday used the satnav in it for the first time since fitting a !"v power socket. I noticed the speedo is reading about 5 mph slow for all speeds. my tyres are 205 / 60 x16 which I think are very close to the original 185x14 in overall size.
as the error is 5mph ish at all speeds could this point to me cocking something up when replacing the pointer needle thingy?

Yes my Speedo is 5mph slow too after I fixed the odometer but I'm on the original wheels, putting the needle back on in line with the mark at the bottom of the dial is not a very precise science.
East fix, take out the Speedo, while snapping more plastic, replace needle , snap more plastic , add in some gaffa tape to hold it all together, job done!! |

Not related to your problem, but can anyone tell me the actual dimension of the speedo dial face please.
