Hey all
I have just put a 1.8t aeb engine in my bus from a passat. Originally the bus had a 1.6jx diesel in it. I'm wondering if anyone else has gone from diesel to this petrol engine and how did they get the Rev counter working please?
Cheers

you need to swap signal from diesel alternator to petrol coil. you can tap into a wire off the coil but without ecu pinouts i couldnt tell you which one....

Thanks mate. I don't actually have a single coil only coil packs on each cylinder. I can pm you a pint for the 1.8t ecu if that helps
