The small step from the seating area into the cab in my '88 Joker is tatty & worn, I want to screw a metal step nosing/cap to tidy it up, is there anything directly underneath as I will be drilling then fixing using self tappers? Its a left hooker & I guess the diesel tank is there or there abouts
Apologies for any daft questions, i have owned it for a while now & still keep finding niggling problems!!

I did the same on my Westy joker.
Removed the old rusty metal strip holding down the carpet at the step and replaced it with some new aluminium.
I used the old metal strip as a ten-plate so I could use the existing holes and replaced the screws for new stainless screws.
Post up some pictures of your solution.
