Injector needle lift sensor wiring cut

   Hi,
I've cut through both wires on the injector that has the needle lift sensor fitted. Can this simply be joined back together ? It will be DC so I guess the polarity is critcial.

Was trying to get the injector out but its stuck fast so hence the above question.
