slips out of 2nd & 3rd gear when I ease off the accelerator, my mechanic has looked and its nothing external, he thinks its the gearbox is bolloxed but his regular gearbox guy wont touch it as its to old & he said was difficult to get parts (in other words he doesn't want the hassle of an old gearbox), anybody recommend a "trustworthy gearbox guy" around the Bedfordshire area

does it do it from cold or after a couple of miles ? have you made sure there is enough oil in it

Drove back about 150miles from Dorset a couple of weeks ago didn't miss a heartbeat,good as gold parked it up for two weeks and started doing it 50 yards up the road so hasn't gone a few miles only to the garage and back since
