Electric window regulator issue, tailgate light c

Hello all,

So, my drivers side electric window regulator packed it in.

Ordered a new window regulator. Motor was fine.

after a 7 day wait , I have the vehicle back from the dealer.... several issues....

1.  the window goes all the way up and then goes halfway down....

2. Will not go up on one touch, button must be held up.

3. When the window goes down while driving, the tailgate open warning 
light comes on on the dash... Close the window and the light goes 
off....

Has anyone had a similar problem after replacing a window regulator ??

	Try keep holding the up button down for 10 seconds after it reaches the top. This resets the controller somehow so it "knows" when the window is fully closed (you have to do this if you ever disconnect the battery).
