Greets from the Carolinas. I have a 2003 (2.8L) Vr6-powered Eurovan/T4 camper. Basically, these vans were shipped to the US as cargo models and turned into poptop/Westfalia type campers by Winnebago USA.

Very strange issue with the interior lights up front: they only work when a door is open.
That means the sun visor lights and both dome lights between the visors - they only work when one of the doors is open: side hatch, driver or passenger. Door switches seem fine. As I understand it, there's supposed to be a delay circuit that slowly dims the interior lights when you shut the door, but that's not working. As soon as you close the door,  the lights go out - and you can't make any of them come on with switches, or anything once the door is closed. The 'door closed/door open' switch in the ceiling dome light functions, but again - even if it's in the 'always on' position, once you close that door, the sonofabitch turns off.

Would welcome some advice. A pic of my black and white beauty is below.
