Howdy folks, not sure if I'm posting in the right place(mods move if necessary)I have a 1997 v.w Sharan 1.9 TDI AHU engine and its very weary, the bodywork that is .I've bought a 2002 V.W Sharan that has a 2lt petrol engine fitted ATM engine. Is there much involved in transferring my diesel engine into the newer body ? Its the wiring/ecu I'm concerned about .THe engine/gearbox and other mechanical parts i'll do myself no problem there.Do i have to get ecu coded or is that keys coded .These are the bits i'm not sure of.Can I still use the clocks from the petrol? What about the six speed box in the petrol can I use that in the diesel?Any help/ advise or any other problems I might face all replies appreciated. Thanks Ger
