After buying different lots of popper studs, I have found they are all too small to take a standard rivet. I have one of the Westy ones, and the opening is large enough to receive one.
Anyone know where I can buy them in the uk, apart from Gunzl of course ? Also, looking for a safe way to balance a coffee percolator on the hob, I have a 12 cup one (biggest one I could find) and it teeters dangerously on the hole. Anyone got a good solution ? Otherwise I am buying one of these http://www.frankcondelli.com/staging1/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=61_109&product_id=63 if anyone else wants one drop me a pm and we can share postage ! cheers Stefvan Edited by Stefvan - 19 Jan 16 at 17:44 |

Genius, thanks good fit, pretty sturdy !! I have priced up those popper studs, via Gunzl with shipping they would cost me £6 each.. anyone know where I can get in the UK ? I found out they are made by VW and of course are NLA.. "Hinge cover press stud, base for hood bags" VW Part 311863481 Stefvan
