Where can you recommend I get the timing belt and water pump changed on my 1983 Lt35 2.4 diesel ?
At an establishment that understand VW Vans

Sinclair VW Van Centre in Cardiff did mine last and made a good job of it too.

Don't forget there's two timing belts to be done.

Yes Jason K bus was having early pre Mot and piece of mind after purchase
 
not too bad just steering idle arm and front shocks

Yep - one from crank to camshaft (via waterpump).

Another on the back of the engine from the other end of the camshaft to the pump.

Pop in and see me tomorrow and I'll explain it!
