I've picked up a 1994 beaver tail LT50 that had no back lights. Working my way through putting some together and have popped a fuse. Sounds dumb, but I can't readily see where the fuses are. Any help greatly appreciated.

PS anyone have a wiring diagram?

Thanks - Arnie

Welcome ArnieVXR HandshakeBeer

All the manuals are in here. http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/technical-manuals-current-link_topic57738.html

The fusebox is under the dash on the left side.

Although the Haynes is not for diesel LTs, apart from the engines, they are the same, chassis, electrics etc.

Hi Arnie. I too struggled to find the fuses on my LT28. Now that I have found them I am practising being a contortionist lying on my back looking up in the passenger footwell there's 2 screws which allows a plastic cover to drop down and reveal the fuse block.
A word of warning - a previous owner had "reworked" some of my fuse connections - so what you think and what Haynes manual says may not be what you have - so I have had to double check what fuse feeds what circuit. On the subject of lights I found and checked the rear earth for my lights - one each side and both came off in my hand so do check your earth connections as well as your live feed. LT electrics - what a joy

I believe there are other engines that will fit the stock VW LT bell housing that mates to the LT 4 spd.  You just have to find them. I was looking at mating up the biggest audi/vw turbo diesel to the stock LT bellhousing  and VW 4 speed manual trans that I could find that was imported to north America.  The LT is a porker and will suck up all the hp/torque you can provide it.
