Hi all

I've recently purchased a 1989 LT31 devon conversion.. She's a beaut. Currently un named. 2.4 Petrol engine, 75k genuine miles. I'm thinking about changing the wheels to get a bit more speed/economy out of it. Gearing is plenty low enough and ample power. Has anyone done this/ know of anyone who has? Ideally the biggest tyre and rim combo without a lift kit..

Thanks guys!

Do an advanced search, top right, and you can read all about it.

Strictly speaaking the only wheels available are the ones you have. Transit wheels 'fit' BUT the mounting method is completely different.

You could use spacers but I think the offset ends up being -80 which is an odd size too.

The wheels MUST be able to carry a vehicle weighing 3 tonnes. Your average cars are 2t at most.

Regarding tyres, 215 are the largest which will fit under the front arches.

Plenty more on the forum to trawl through.
