A good mate of mine is in the market (soon) for a late T4.  Originally planning on a straight forward camper, I suggested a multivan might suit better.

He's going to use it as a family runabout (him, his Mrs and two kids) with weekend camping.

The multivan (maybe caravelle) would give him the option to put a cooker pod in for camping, and OEM seatbelts etc in the back for kids.

Anybody got some good links to german sites (NOT that sort!) so he can do a bit of research?

I'm trying to save him from himself - he wants to buy a T5 ShockedLOL

Back in the slow lane, yeah!

just been jumping through these hoops. Only did the usual mobile.de and autoscout searches. Some good deals on stuff with varying works required, 10 - 13K euros for decent mid milers, and 13- 16K for top spec lower miles Atlantis, Generation spec vehicles. Bought mine in France though for sheer convenience. (as a a resident that is)

May not be the sort of thing you're after, but I find the german 'T4 Wiki' a really super site, with probably the best organised and detailed T4 technical information. A lot of it has wider relevance too of course which I why I use it (I don't own a T4).
