Hi Rob, i have anon turbo head on one of my LT's at the moment with all the bits changed over from a cracked head but i am told the valves have harder seats, also there was some problem with a tapping for i think was the water pump but the machine shop sorted this out and vehicle is running fine.
But i'm sure the techy's will be along soon and and give you the full spec's.

I have heard somewhere that the Turbo Head has extra oil jets in to cool the cylinders, I however cannot remember where I heard this and it might not be in the head.  Could be the block.

I would imagine that the Turbo'd engine does run alot hotter tho so would need additional cooling of some kind, especially as on most of the Turbo lumps there is no intercooler fitted as standard.

The oil cooling jets are in the block, to cool the underside of the pistons. Valves, as mentioned are likely harder and possibly sodium cooled? Camshaft will have a different profile, but easily swappable.
Mid engined, 6 cylinder, turbocharged 2 seater - it can only be a VW LT!

Cheers matt, there is no cam shaft with the head to go on so the original will be used, but still good to know.
Thanks rob
