Look at this beautiful nick Sven Hedin on mobile.de €14,500:

...and this LT Westy on ebay £11,575:

But what about those prices? I mean I know the Sven Hedin is in good nick but it's 30 years old now!

You wouldn't want to drive it let alone sleep in it at that price.

yes but, what you want and what you get are two different things, its worth is what some one is prepared to pay for it,  plus it will show if they can command these prices,

if some one pays the price it would be looked after,  looks a nice one thou,  but i see what your saying

The Florida is ClownSpicys'  of this parish, offers of 11k+ to us, or 11,500 depending on when you stop reading.

Very nice but I wouldn't buy it because of the difficulty in getting parts.
VW stop supplying after 17 years so anything other than service items is a pain.

Nah, never had a problem getting parts for mine.

So far I've done belts, water pump, brake, brake calipers, pads, rear shoes, charging relay, indicators, gearshift gaitor, ball joints, header tank, glow plugs, vacuum pump and a few more things besides. Even replaced the fridge!

No issues getting parts if you do a little research.
Back in the slow lane, yeah!

Dunno what year your LT is, but since it's a diesel guessing 90's. Big difference cos it's basically a volvo engine.

When I needed a rear brake back plate for my 1979 LT VW had 2 left.
Found a flexi hose for the brakes that VW had discontinued and that is it over 7 years now.
Apart from welding parts cost is less than a ton.

Blimey, although Youngs did do great LT conversions. Second in line to the Westy on my list. Most of those I saw had low mileage (presumably preferred by the more mature sir/couple)... wonder what the mileage on that one was.

Nice marker lights! Just added some to mine:

There are still some bargains too though! I just picked up a Florida that needs some love for a great price through ebay, just listed my trusty old LT35 hoping to buck this trend though..
