I don't think there is any such thing as a quick fridge question
It is probably a klixon which closes the circuit when the fins reach a certain temp. It opens when the temp drops low enough. |

That'll be fine. Depending on size of fan, you can fit more. I had two smaller fans and fitted the side by side. You can install them using cable ties, which makes it a bit easier.

Another thing are the pipes on the back of the fridge suppose to get very hot and is the fan likely to be running all the time the fridge is on.the sensor does seem to work when its realy cold if does turn off but will the fans cool the sensor down enough to turn the fans off.

The pipes get hot - it's how the fluid inside circulates by convection.
The large fins are there to dissipate the heat, but if it becomes too hot the sensor will kick in and turn the fan(s) on. This circulates the air over the fins to aid heat dissipation. One temp drops, the fans turn off. So, you would only usually hear the fan run when it gets hot behind the fridge - this can happen on a hot day, if vents are obstructed if if the fridge is worked hard - but it's what it's designed to do, so no worries. |
