It's a 2.1 isn't it?
Well in your other thread you mention getting the original 2.1 rebuilt? |

well yes it is - but i have a mechanic suggesting the SA were different to the australian ... perhaps etc ... i was led to believe it was wbx4 2.1i with DJ engine code - but how do i confirm this?

Look through the rear inspection hatch where the oil filler is.
Look straight forward towards the top right of the crank pulley and there's a flat face on the engine where the engine number should be stamped. |

They should be the same if labelled as a DJ.
Click on the brick-yard logo top left,then Information and then T3. There's an engine data guide in there. |
