there has been talk about doing these for some time.. ive never got round to doing it as i got some oe ones cheap..
but ive got s damaged sliding door window that i may try cutting down in the new year..
this topic came into my head again today as i had been hunting on google about LH5V paint and came across this guys post.
he looks to be making sliding windows using a westy van offset slider.
if anyone else has made or is trying to make short slider windows please put some pics/info up.
would be good to know if anyone has completed a set.. more so now as as a single doka slider can cost 200 quid.

Thinking of going down this road too.
Got the doka sliding and fixed glass measurements - fixed window 282x399.5mm & slider 338x391 off etka. Original glass toughened so will not cut, so you will need to use laminated from your local glass specialist. Mine dont stock the 5.5mm needed so I'll special order some in the new year. So far Ive got the old glass out and measured a few bits and thought about it then I'll probably think some more. Maybe have it done in a year or so Hope this helps |

I should have a set of rear glass (glass only) lying round somewhere, I fitted tints a while back.
