hi all
was wonderin what brick-yarders think would be a reasonable price for my local garage to fit a new timing belt for me (94 lt)
i dont want to get ripped off

Hi It's a pretty easy job to do yourself if you are handy, the hardest bit is loosening the rusted bolts and then the big damper bolt but if you have some good tools, wd40 & a blow torch then it can be done in half a day.I reckon a garage would be £400+ but maybe others on here no different.

jus got quote of just under 300 for doing timing belt and pump belt inc parts n labour
nay too bad |
