I've seen arch extensions ( mainly on the front ) on some t3's , especially on govt type busses in germany. Does anyone know anything about them and if you can get them or someone remakes them? They look to be a dark grey colour.
I'm struggling to get my new wheels under the standard arches! Cheers |

You've bought wheels with the wrong offset(or too wide) then and fitting the arch covers won't make much difference either unless you cut the original wheel arch off....16" Syncro style. Edited by Steve B - 14 Apr 11 at 17:40 |

Seems like it was the syncro ones I was seeing
Not so keen on the ones on eBay, they don't seem to be a great fit, but then maybe the syncro ones aren't either! Think I will get the arches 'pulled' if there are clearance issues They do fit, as the wheels I have are the ones Paul knight used to have on his T3 a few years ago, so i know they go on ...... after some messin |

They may "go on" or "fit" but if you're having clearance issues then there's a problem with the wheels or the suspension.

the arches that are often seen on the fronts only are post bus arches.
the general view is that 8 inch is as wide as you can go on the front.... ive fitted most options posible to the front of a t3 when it comes to wheels.
im fitting post bus arches but its to give extra arch rather than to cover the wheels.
that wheels are you using??

WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

I really like the extended arches on the T3 Race Taxi. I think they just got some arches from a donor and welded them on to make the existing arches longer. Subtle but very smart.

There was a lad on 80-90 I think he made his own by welding a set of regular arches cut from a scrap bus onto his project. It looked good when he'd done.
