No twin tank for me... we use SVO without modification.

During milder weather we use 50/50 and when it's cold just diesel. But our van will run on just veggie oil.
Just off j35 M1.

I ran my last van on 100% veg oil all summer and70% oil -30% diesel during winter for 5 years .
I did have an injection pump go after three years but was reliably informed that it had nothing to do with the fuel, even so by saving an average of £25 a week and the injection pump at £500 I am still £6000 better off.
I would definately recommend  it  just change the engine oil more frequently and allow the engine to warm up properly before subjecting it to heavy work (thrashing).
If you have good glowplugs you should have no problems

i use a heater matrix and a single tank system, lost track of what ratio i am using, could be 80/20 who knows! engine quieter, starts better, smokes less.

this chap knows his stuff and is using a twin tank jobby.....
