OK, I REALLY like the wheels Shapey has on his van.

The problem I have, is I cannot use spacers, without having a Mod cert (again - I already did it for my EJ25).

I would like 15" or 16", not too fussed on width, but the need to bolt on with a suitable offset.

I have a 1984 T3 Kombi, 2wd. I have a set of 30mm Caravelle type -30mm springs for the front.

Can anyone tell me a steel wheel (probably mercedes I guess) that I can bolt straight on without spacers??? Do you know what models they fit? I can hunt around at wreckers yards to find them locally :-)

Thank you for any info you can give me - I have spent a long time trying to find something suitable, but have had no luck so far!

Cheers!

Allan, (New Zealand)

Cheers for the reply, but here in New Zealand the T3 was never officially imported, and I have only ever seen 3 syncros... none of them 16's!

Hopefully someones knows of something else, and hopefully I can find it here

Thank you!

Allan.

Sorry james:

Thanks a LOT!

I didn't realise I never replied to this thread... SORRY. I got the info though :-)

I ended up ordering a new set... from Singapore! DON"T tell my wife - they cost a small fortune, but no friehgt, as Mercedes NZ ships them in with their next order :-)

I can't wait!

Now does anyone know if the VW steel bolts/lugs fit the Merc 12mm seats, after I drill them out to 14mm?? There seems to be conflicting info on the web. Some have done it, some say don't do it. Some say it doesn't fit, some says it does fit!

Cheers all!

Allan.
