Anyone got pics please, also what engine sizes are in the MK1 Caddy's because my son wants one as his first car, he's thinking about the insurance.

With the Mk1 Caddy, I'm pretty certain in the UK, we only got 2 options. The 1.6 petrol from the Golf, (1596cc), and the 1.6 diesel (1588cc) from the T3. I think there was a 1.6 TD (JX engine) option - although I'm not sure if it was offered in the UK.
I'm sure this is right, but I'm not 100%. Can anyone confirm ?

1.8 gti
insurance might be an issue on a "commercial" anyway, so probably best to ignore the Sport for a few years, even if you could find one |

Bargains still out there too, mine was £1100 but mate of mine found an AAZ'd one for £500! Git!
