"downsizing" to a t4....

   morning chaps, after some advice/tips/whatever....

in an effort to reduce my fleet, I'm thinking about getting a t4 to replace my old-shape LT35 and my mk2 gti. couple of questions though:

How much room is there in the back of a LWB t4? I'll probably get a panel van and convert it by stripping stuff out of my LT, but I need room for me, the missus, baby, and 2 dogs (one very big, one very small) - will that be pushing it a bit?

how much should i be looking at spending to get a reasonably tidy LWB 2.5tdi panel van?

any general tips on stuff to look out for?

	SWB = 4707mm LWB = 5107mm The extra 400mm is between the `c` post of the sliding door and the rear wheel arch

	thanks :) also - seen a few 2.4d ones around reasonably cheap... what are they like compared to the other motors (mpg, speed etc.)?

	was probably going to scrap my LT 2.4td... dont suppose i can use the turbo stuff off that on a t4?

	no way thats gonna fit but i'd keep it, there's always a few 35 owners looking for turbo's
