     just about to shoot off for a couple of days in north wales and chester only for the van to start playing up .

gutted.

looks like its the ect sensor.

can anyone confirm that it`s normal for the engine to have a fast idle speed if the ect sensor is disconected. by disconnecting it the emmisions have come down from 10% co to something more sencible but its idleing at abouT300rpm now.

bloody electricery.at least its made my mind up. i aint going tdi now. roll on the aaz.
