   Can anyone help me.  I have a  1985 vw campervan with a problem, my van is an automatic with a pierburg carburettor, When I rev the engine for a few seconds the engine seems to run out of petrol and stops.  But will restart after a couple of turns on key. Also when I acelerate from standing at the junction the engine will seem to die, but if I pump the throttle it will go. Can anyone help me I am a new member and just had my carburettor recond. and  It is working 100%.
