Like it says really.....
Im swapping my 14" Carat alloys, ET 30, for a set of 15" steels.  They fit over the hubs etc but the offset on the steels is 55 so I'm going to need some 20mm spacers allround.
Am I likely to put any additional wear on the cvs and drive at the front?
Sorry if it's a daft question, but I don't want to bo**ocks things up.

(Forgot to say they're van wheels rated at 780kg per wheel and the tyres are 101 load rated, just so we don't go there again) Wink

if you end up with the right offset ie by fitting a 20 mm spacer then things should be fine..
WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

That's what I was hoping, but thought I'd best check first,
Cheers

Spacers = Longer studs = Front hubs off = New bearings

Just ordered the parts to fit some 16" alloys, from Baxter. £177.19

Why not go for some Merc C-class 15" steelies which have on OK offset ? Cheap as chips.

It looks like the studs from the carats on at the moment will be good for the spacers, but I need to do some "proper" measuring when I get some time this week.

I've read good & bad about the weight/strength of the C class steels, it would be a cheaper way round from steels to start with, but I think I'd end up with long studs sticking out

Cheers for the suggestion though; do you mean you have some Merc 15s spare now you've got the alloy 16s?
